  • By default, we deliver scans in JPEG format. TIFF files are available upon request.

  • Once your scans are ready, you’ll receive an email with a download link.

  • We keep your scans online for 4 weeks. After that, they will be automatically deleted.

  • A contact sheet is a digital overview of your images arranged in a grid format. Click here to see an example.

  • Yes, we do! Simply write your push or pull request directly on the film, please note: Push and pull processing can lead to longer waiting times - especially with C41 and slide films. We do our best, of course, but these processes sometimes simply need a little more time.

  • We usually process your films (development and scans) within 48-72 hours.

    In particularly stressful times, however, it can sometimes take a little longer.

    If it is important and needs to be done quickly, just write us a short note when you place your order - we will then prioritise your order if possible.

  • Use a padded envelope for protection. For added safety, place your films in a zip-lock bag in case of water exposure during transit.

  • Return postage costs €2.99. We send the negatives in a large letter with basic tracking.

  • Either immediately after scanning. Or grouped together at the end of the year, depending on what you selected during the checkout process.

  • We archive your negatives free of charge for up to one year. To do this, we cut the negatives and archive them in parchment sleeves, as this is the best way to protect them. At the end of each year, we will send you all the negatives back together.

  • Yes, you can drop off your films at our Drop-Off Stations in Berlin. You’ll find the exact locations here.
